We've got painting, drawing, Photoshop, and printmaking classes with spaces available. Want to learn traditional B&W darkroom photography using actual film? We'll teach you. Plus, we have the only letterpress program of its kind for adults in the region. Teens 16+ can take most adult classes (with permission).

Classes for Adults

Classes for 3-6 year olds introduce various materials, concepts and techniques, designed to challenge a child’s imagination and ability while providing opportunities for playful exploration. Toddlers must be toilet trained. Classes for 6-11 year olds are designed to enhance skills, broaden concepts and provide an expanded creative experience. Various materials and historical art concepts are used to achieve greater technical ability and broaden knowledge.

Make art together! Classes are designed for an adult and the child in their life to spend time together creatively. However you define family, the Armory provides the space to enjoy classes that introduce various materials, concepts and techniques designed to challenge one’s imagination and ability while providing opportunities for playful exploration.

Classes for Teens
Ages 12-14


Extended class times let students engage in ambitious explorations of concepts, expression, connections, applications, and materials. Classes include stop-motion animation, drawing, painting, ceramics, photography, and sculpture.
Adult Classes

Ages 15-18


Classes include painting, animation, video production, photography, and sculpture. Teens 16+ can also take most adult classes (with permission). Classes for teens 15-18 are tuition-free, but require a non-refundable, $50 registration fee.
