2012 Scholastic Art Awards
The Armory is pleased to partner with The Alliance for Young Artists and Writers, Ovation and Time Warner Cable for the 4th consecutive year on the Scholastic Art Awards. The Scholastic Art Awards recognizes accomplished teen artists in 7th through 12th grade. Teens are invited to submit their best works of art for review in several diverse categories including video game design, photography, sculpture, painting, and drawing.
The Scholastic Art Awards is an integral part of the Armory’s Art High Teen Initiative, a collection of programs designed to strengthen the Armory’s ability to more effectively serve teenagers, and plays a key role in our mission to build on the power of art to transform lives and communities through creating, teaching, and presenting the arts.
