Caged
Through May 15
This exhibition re-inaugurates Armory Northwest/965 as an alternative space in Northwest Pasadena for the Armory. Presented in a chain-link-fence-encased portion of the former plastics factory, Caged features site-specific installations in which artists broadly explore forms of confinement or imprisonment, and includes several types of architectural structures made from diverse materials such as folded paper, discarded and found construction materials, metal and wood.

Other installations include geometric solids and shapes based on the human body, and a video installation that examines the human body in performance. Artists are Cheryl Dullabaun, Hadiya Finley, David Hendren, Gregory Michael Hernandez, Gabrielle Jennings, Avonel Jones, Melissa Manfull, Hilary Norcliffe, Roland Seto, and Ali Smith and Noah Thomas.
