This is the third year that seniors at the Visual Arts and Design Academy in Pasadena have created lamps as a senior project and the first time they have been shown at the Armory. The lamps are designed to appear differently depending on illumination. When they are turned on, watercolor designs on the inside of the lampshades become apparent. When the lamps are turned off, the pen and ink drawings on the outside of the shades are more visible. Approximately 35 lamps will be included.
