Enter the realm of pure light and optics as the Armory presents a series of camera obscura optical sculptures, created by artist Stephen Berkman. Berkman’s four ephemeral projects, A Wandering Eye, Hair Obscura, Surveillance Obscura and Looking Glass challenge the notion of the photograph as commodity while reasserting the primary experience of photography as an elemental phenomena.
