Dates: Tuesday, Nov 14, 2017
Time: 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Join us for the latest installment of the United Nations Association-Pasadena's “coffee talk” speaking series, featuring Latino Heritage Parade and Jamaica co-founder Roberta H. Martínez. Born and raised in East Los Angeles, Ms. Martinez is a writer and independent scholar who earned her BA in Music and MA in Music History from UC Riverside. A major focus of her research is the history of communities whose stories are not well documented. Her book Latinos in Pasadena was published by Arcadia Publishing in 2009. Ms. Martínez is also the host and producer of the cable access show Casa Martínez-Música y más.
