Corporate Sponsorship
Local and national businesses, both large and small, contribute to the Armory’s programs because they share our commitment to making meaningful and innovative arts experiences affordable and available to the entire community.
Corporations support the Armory in a number of ways, including corporate membership, sponsorships, grants, event underwriting, and in-kind gifts.
The Armory offers special benefits to its corporate members and their employees.
SPOTLIGHT: Western Asset Management Company
Western Asset Management Company is one of the world's leading fixed income managers. From offices in Pasadena, Hong Kong, London, Melbourne, New York, São Paulo, Singapore and Tokyo, the company provides investment services for a wide variety of global clients.
Western Asset is also a corporate donor, supporting the Armory’s Walk to Art program, which brings the power of art to low income children and families in Pasadena. This program is known as “Walk to Art” because it provides classes within walking distance for most residents.
Walk to Art offers free after-school and weekend art workshops that reach more than 4,000 low-income children and youth each year. Taught by professional artists at libraries, parks, schools, community centers, and social service agencies, Walk to Art focuses on Pasadena’s lowest-income neighborhoods in order to serve children and youth who otherwise would have little or no access to arts activities.
The Armory is grateful for Western Asset’s support, and we salute its commitment to the Pasadena community.
