Sustaining in-school programs and free Armory arts programming continues to take on even greater importance as a lifeline to the arts for children and teens in the community. Here are some of the many Armory signature programs your gift supports:
$10,000 can fund four 8-week sessions for 80 underserved children at a community site in Northwest Pasadena.
$5,000 can fund two 8-week sessions of Children Investigate the Environment, a program that integrates science with art activities during a series of field trips to local canyons.
$2,500 can fund FLARE (Fun with Language, Arts & Reading), an 8-week integrated arts and literacy program for 35 grade school children.
$1,000 can support the Armory Teacher Training program that provides opportunities in arts education for teaching artists and classroom teachers.
$500 can provide apprenticeships for a teen in our Community and Studio Mentoring Programs. Under the guidance of Armory teaching artists and our Program Directors, teens serve as Teacher Assistants and gain job skills.
$250 can provide scholarships for kids to participate in our studio art classes or for art supplies in our community programs.
