RAIN OR SHINE THEMED ARTWORK DISPLAYED AT THE ARMORY
Beginning Saturday, July 12 through September 7, 2014, artwork and poetry will be displayed on the theme of Rain or Shine at Armory Center for the Arts Community Room, 145 North Raymond. An opening reception will be celebrating the display from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12.
The City of Pasadena Adaptive Recreation Art Program, a City sponsored program that serves adults with disabilities, is a co-sponsor of the event. The Adaptive Recreation program provides a weekly art program for artists with disabilities who live in the Pasadena/Altadena area. Their chosen theme is a series of poems and pictures illustrating the day-to-day hopes and challenges for the Adaptive Recreation Art Program artists.
Please contact Jackie Scott, Adaptive Recreation Specialist, at (626)744-7257 or [email protected] for further information.
