Children bring their imagination to life at Armory Center for the Arts. Our Spring Studio art classes for 3-11 year olds are taught by professional Teaching Artists who give your children the individualized instruction they need to thrive in a creative, nurturing environment. Nonprofit and donor-supported, Armory Center for the Arts is the Los Angeles region’s leading independent institution for contemporary art exhibitions and community arts education. (Ages 9-11) Discover the magic world of darkroom photography where art meets science via chemistry and physics. Create camera-less photograms, cyanotypes, and lumen prints. Make and shoot with your own pinhole camera, based on the camera obscura phenomena discovered in antiquity. Learn techniques of transfer and positive/negative imagery.
