2018/2019 Armory Teaching Artist Fellowships
Armory Center for the Arts is now accepting applicants for our renowned teaching artist training program. We've been training the next generation of teaching artists for over 25 years. Past Armory Fellows include Edgar Arceneaux, Alice Könitz, Rodney McMillian, and Olga Koumoundouros. Designed for current and recent MFAs, Armory Fellows undergo 9 months of rigorous, hands-on pedagogical training in exhibition touring techniques and art making experiences for K-12 students. This is a paid fellowship. Only 4 fellows will be selected for the 2018/2019 cohort. Applications are due by June 8. Click below for eligibility requirements and application procedures.
Internship Opportunities: Teaching Artist Assistants
Armory Center for the Arts is now accepting applications for a 9-month internship and teaching training program. Designed for recent BFA graduates or current MFA students, interns receive 3 months of idea-based teacher training. Then, in a variety of Armory education settings, interns are placed as paid teaching assistants and receive mentoring from experienced Armory teaching artists. Only 4 interns will be selected.
