Giving By Design – A Bracelet Supporting Children’s Art Programs is Helping To Bring Dreams to Life
Brighton Collectibles at the Paseo Colorado in Pasadena, doesn’t simply believe in the maxim “Be the change you wish to see in the world” – they’ve built it into their business by designing jewelry to raise money for non-profit organizations that help people in the communities near their store, and this new initiative is one that everyone at the company feels passionate about. For each $48 Americana bracelet sold in their Pasadena store from June 1st through July 31st, Brighton Collectibles in Pasadena will contribute a portion of the proceeds to the Armory Center for the Arts.
After almost a decade of supporting charities with over $8 million in donations, this iconic accessory company has turned its focus to donating to a wide range of kids’ charity programs for the arts – including dance, music, and visual art. In today’s economy, many schools across the country are no longer offering children these experiences. When cuts are being made due to budget constraints, the art programs that enrich lives in those communities are the very first casualties.
