Traveling soon? Plan on taking some pictures? Armory Teaching Artists Laura Parker and Joan Dooley will teach you some secrets to get amazing shots. When shooting street —or travel— photography, it's easy to end up with chaotic snapshots or touristy clichés. On the other hand, a skilled street photographer is able to anticipate action, interaction, and that split second when the ordinary street scene becomes an extraordinary photo. That's what these new workshops are all about.
These brand-new, short-term, and low-cost workshops for adults 18+ are designed to meet the demands of your busy schedule—perfect for those who want a taste of what the Armory has to offer without a huge investment of time or money. No prior experience is necessary. Sign up one or both workshops. It's your choice. See details below.
With roots going back to 1947, the Armory is a national leader in arts education. We honor artistic voices of all ages, and we deliver authentic, artist-driven, creativity-based instruction. Be sure to check out our Spring classes for children, middle schoolers, teens, and families, too. All skill levels are welcomed.
