Art of Endangered Species

Art of Endangered Species

Ages 5-7

Learn about the endangered species in our world, from the Black Rhinos to the Snow Leopards, to the Beluga whales, and their diverse environments. Improve your drawing and painting techniques as you create your own unique artworks inspired by these animals as you also learn about the lives and the changing environments of these animals. All supplies are provided and included in the price of the class. Additionally, at least once throughout the session, the class will tour At the Table, a group exhibition on view at the Armory that explores our intimate and communal relationships with food and investigates the many ways these connections were severed or challenged during the 2020-21 lockdown triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Masks are required inside the Armory for all students and visitors. All students age 5 and up must show proof of full vaccination on the first day of class. Please read our onsite class safety protocols here.
