Families affected by the LAUSD strike: we can help. We're offering a free drop-in art workshop on Thursday, March 23, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. LAUSD schools will be closed from 3/21-3/23 due to the upcoming strike. We know how hard it is for families when school is canceled. We also support fair wages and healthy working conditions for LAUSD support staff who are VITAL to a safe, meaningful learning space for your child Thursday's drop-in workshop is designed for families with children 11 and under. Our current exhibition, Exposure: Native Art and Political Ecology, will also be open view at no cost. Visiting the gallery is self-guided for all ages, but we ask that children must be accompanied by an adult or caregiver age 16 or older inside the gallery. Click below to RSVP for the workshop.
