About the Artist
Amanda Fung (she/they) is a queer Cantonese artist and designer whose work often uses a lot of graphic design, playful illustrations, meta humor, interesting materials, and frequent invitations to interact with the physical object itself. Amanda runs a zee press, an independent press and Risograph studio that focuses on printing and publishing anything from art and zines to collaborative projects with other artists. Amanda started a zee press as a result of becoming deeply obsessed with both zines and the Risograph printing process and having experienced the healing power of zines and its culture that encourages self-expression over perfection.

What is a Zine?
Zines are a popular art form and alternative communication tool. Coming out of underground scenes like Punk or SciFi fandom, zines are homemade magazines created by individuals or collectives in small editions (1,000 or less), and usually printed on a photocopier.
